Documdentary:
"THE MOON INSIDE YOU" Spain, France and Slovakia 2008 - Friday, October 23, 9:00pm
Diana Fabianova (Director, Writer)

Our world is made up of many different cultures where certain things are accepted and certain things are deemed inappropriate. Menstruation has been universally branded a taboo for years everywhere in the world. The Moon Inside You takes a fresh look at this taboo that defines the political and social reality of both women and men in a more profound way than society might be willing to admit.
This documentary uses beautiful imagery, humor, scientific research, and candid interviews to educate us and challenge our preconceived ideas of womanhood. Like many other women, Diana has been suffering from problematic periods for years. We follow her on an emotional journey which brings us some very real answers to questions that most of us have always been to afraid to ask. For instance, did you know that an active sex life and masturbation relieves cramps better then an ibuprofen ever will?
You can’t help falling in love with one of the main interviewees, a young girl who talks so naturally and honestly about things that most of us would be embarrassed to mention to our best friend. Diana transforms her very personal journey into a universal experience, one that is thoroughly enjoyable and fun.
